With a slightly altered formation, Josh Klinghoffer is since 2010 the official replacement of guitatrist John Frusciante, Red Hot gave away a performance not soon to forget. The concert opened with Monarchy of Roses, one of the singles on the new album. Other new songs included Factory of Faith and of course Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie. But Red hot didn't just play the new album from beginning to end. A lot of the older classics like Otherside, Under the Bridge and Californication were played in between, making the crowd crazier everytime. Finally a drum solo by Chad and "Give it Away" put a crown on the concert.
Backed up by great visuals and an impressive video wall, the Red Hot Chili Peppers sounded fresh and enthusiast, just like their new album I think.
Watch the video and judge yourself.
