Nas & Damian Marley kicked off their Distant Relatives European tour at Couleur Café in Brussels last weekend and the way they did definitely deserves some laurels. Though time pased fast, it was a lenghty performance with of course the tracks of their new album Distant Relatives (As We Enter, Dispair,...), but also some older numbers (Welcome To Jamrock, Road to Zion), surely to everybody's pleasant surprise.
Nas sang one of his old hip-hop classics "You Can Hate Me" and after an ironic "Are there some Bob Marley fans present tonight?" Damian burst out in an uptempo version of 'Could You Be Loved'. Absolute greatness.
If you have watched all videos, you might have realized that the guy in the back of the stage was waving the rasta flag during the ENTIRE concert. For that: respect.
